 What did we learn? Conservation is much less expensive than solar. For every dollar we spent on reducing heat loss from the house, with a better air barrier and more insulation, we saved at least 10 dollars on the size of solar collectors and equipment needed to achieve the same thing. Now let us look at some of the details of the house.
